BREW NEWS: A Message From Our President

Recently there has been a lot of discussion within our local communities regarding a can of Bud Light that was produced for a social media influencer. Wayne Densch Inc. would like to provide some clarification to our local business partners and friends as there is currently an abundance of unclear and false information circulating about this topic.

Anheuser-Busch is our largest supplier with a very large media presence. This presence includes thousands of “influencers” as part of a national marketing strategy. The recent Bud Light influencer campaign which has gone viral was not a political statement, nor was the can design intended for market distribution. In fact, this single can was not produced in an Anheuser-Busch brewery, but rather, by a third-party ad agency,

and none will be made available for sale to the general public.

Wayne Densch Inc. is a locally owned family business which has been serving Central Florida since 1960. Wayne Densch employs 160 local citizens and regularly supports over 100+ charitable and civic organizations in our community. Wayne Densch Inc. spends many dollars and resources on local events, some of which would not exist without our help.

Mr. Wayne Densch personally saved the UCF Football Program with a $1,000,000.00 donation in the 1980s. In gratitude the UCF Athletic Department retired jersey #1 in his name. In 2016 Wayne Densch Inc. brought the World Famous Clydesdales to Sanford and had them participate in numerous local events including the Leesburg and Sanford Christmas parades. Anheuser-Busch is also a supporter of many causes, including being the largest supporter of military veterans and their families of any brewer in the nation with their Folds of Honor program.

We ask that you continue to support our brands, our business, and our families as we have supported you and our communities throughout the years. Please don’t let a viral video made by an “influencer” from far away erase the friendships we have built and all the good we have been able to do in our communities for 63 years. We look forward to having beers with you for years to come.
